School colleagues and pupils remembering Adrienne

Created by Jack 10 years ago
Here are some extracts from the memories of Adrienne recalled at a remembrance service held by St Francis School staff and pupils. Mrs Fraser (Headteacher) .. If we try to help each other and make life better for those we meet then we will always be close to Mrs Coutts and her work will go on. Lauren A Mrs Coutts was a great teacher. She helped us with our work. We all liked her. Mrs Morton .. Among the many things that Mrs Coutts did at our school was the help that she gave us with music. It was through her and Mr Coutts that our choir was invited to sing at the Liverpool Shanty Festival. Katie O Mrs Coutts read us lots of stories abour knights, dragons and ogres. They were very exciting. Megan R Mrs Coutts always praised us when we learnt a new song in choir. She was a great singer herself. Jordan B If I was in trouble Mrs Coutts would always let me have my say. Lewis M Mrs Coutts helped me to put the story of Milo the school hamster into the computer. Jordan Mc Mrs Coutts loved the Harry Potter stories. She read them to us and acted all the parts. Hayley D Mrs Coutts will always be remembered for everything she ever did for us. Although she has gone she will always be with us when we need her and she will always be in our hearts. Mr Radforth One of the most important jobs Mrs Coutts did was to help anyone who found school work hard. Mrs Coutts often used to say "everyone has special needs sometimes". If anyone was worried or upset Mrs Coutts was always ready to help them, even when she was ill and in pain herself. Mr Morton Mrs Coutts was great fun to work with. She was especially good at IT, literature, poetry and music. But of all the things she was good at the thing I remember most of all was her sense of humour. Adam M Lord we thank you for the life and work of Mrs Coutts. Help us to follow her example of love and kindness to others.
